Sr. Executive / Executive / Jr. Executive - Supply Chain Management -
The
main activity of the Junior Purchasing Specialist is to fill in
quotation requests received from Vodafone Operating Companies, either by
getting the pricing information from existing price books or by
contacting the end suppliers and follow up the end to end VPC purchasing
process until the PO2 is successfully issued to the final supplier.
The main tasks that the role involves will be:
+ maintain pricing information in the relevant RFQs;
+ submit the RFQs for approval to the relevant category managers
+ contact end suppliers for pricing information;
+ handle requests/issues regarding VPC purchasing end to end process
(from RFQ creation until PO2 is issued to the final supplier) and
execute changes
+ approve shopping carts and RFQs
+ issue reports on status to the relevant stakeholders
Validate RFQs and POs if correct process is used, provided documents are correct
Maintain RFQs with the pricing information from existing price books
Contact final suppliers for pricing information
Maintain RFQs with the supplier info and get relevant approvals from Category Managers
Follow up the end to end process starting from RFQ creation until PO2 is issued to the final supplier
Back-up for other team members
0-1 Year of Experience
SCM Experience
B.Com Degree
Good MS Excel skills
Good Communication Skills
P2P - AP Experience
University Degree
Experience of using records management systems, web/database tools
Excellent organizational skills and ability to organize own workload,
Ability to analyze tasks and understand underlying processes,
